Overview
Credentialing & Payor Enrollment Specialist
Thrive Physical Therapy Partners | Remote or Hybrid
Help our clinicians get started and keep patient care moving.
Behind every provider ready to see patients in-network is a credentialing professional who made it possible. At Thrive Physical Therapy Partners, your expertise helps new clinicians launch successfully, patients access covered care, and our clinics receive timely reimbursement.
We’re a growing network of outpatient rehabilitation practices seeking an experienced Credentialing & Payor Enrollment Specialist to own provider and facility credentialing from initial application through ongoing maintenance. If you know how to navigate payor requirements, follow applications through to completion, and stay ahead of deadlines, you’ll play an essential role in our clinicians’ success.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Own
- Get providers ready to practice in-network. Manage initial credentialing and payor enrollment for incoming clinicians and locations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.
- Keep credentials current. Maintain accurate provider files, CAQH profiles, quarterly attestations, recredentialing, revalidations, and enrollment updates.
- Drive applications to completion. Track submissions, follow up proactively with payors, resolve discrepancies, and confirm enrollment status and effective dates.
- Stay ahead of deadlines. Monitor licenses, certifications, malpractice coverage, and required documentation to help prevent enrollment lapses and reimbursement delays.
- Keep teams informed. Give providers, clinic leaders, and Revenue Cycle Management clear updates on progress, outstanding items, and barriers to enrollment.
- Improve how we work. Identify practical ways to streamline credentialing as Thrive grows.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on provider credentialing and payor enrollment experience, including managing applications from submission through approval.
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance enrollment, plus working proficiency in CAQH and PECOS.
- Strong follow-through, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to manage multiple providers, payors, and deadlines independently.
- Clear, responsive and supportive communication with clinicians, payors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and credentialing databases or tracking tools.
- Multi-state enrollment and facility credentialing experience is a PLUS!
Especially valuable: Experience credentialing physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
